The Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Online Course (AZ-900), is a video course. You’ll receive 24 videos in total, which makes it a content length of 5+ hours. Before we get into the details, let’s briefly review the Microsoft Azure AZ-900 certification exam.
Microsoft Azure Fundamentals AZ-900
AZ-900 is the most important certification among the role-based Microsoft Azure certificates. It’s the most important certification for candidates new to Azure. Although it is not required, it is highly recommended before proceeding to any role-based certification.
If you are a developer or administrator, it is strongly recommended that you first validate your fundamental knowledge about cloud concepts and Azure platform using the Microsoft Azure Fundaments AZ900 exam.
The optional AZ-900 exam can be used as a stepping stone to learning more about cloud services. It will also explain how these concepts are illustrated by Microsoft Azure. This exam can be used as a pre-certification for Microsoft Azure or Microsoft cloud service exams. It can be a useful first step, however. This exam will validate the candidate’s foundational-level understanding. However, it is not required to take any other Azure-based certifications.
Basic Information
AZ-900 is similar to other Microsoft exams. It has 40-60 questions that must be answered within an 85 minute time frame. The exam will ask you questions ranging from case study to multiple-choice to mark review, drag and drop, mark review, mark review, multiple-choice, multiple-choice, and mark revision. The exam will cost 99 USD. To pass the Microsoft AZ-900 exam, you must score 700 points or more. The exam is also available in four languages. These languages are English, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), and Korean.
